Method and machine for cleaning a ballast bed of a track.
The invention relates to a method and a machine according to the cited in the preamble of claim 1,6 and 9 features.
According to EP 0 512 075 a machine is known, is picked up and cleaned with the help of paddles in the flank area of a ballast bed located gravel. The gravel below the track is detected by an undercutter, fed to a screening plant for cleaning and finally dropped over the track.
From DE 2 226 612 another machine is known in which located below the track gravel is displaced by an undercutter in the flank area. In this area of the ballast bedding, an endless clearing chain is used to pick up the ballast that has been laterally displaced by the undercutter and to feed it to a screening plant.
The object of the present invention is now to provide a method and a machine of the type mentioned, with or a simplified cleaning in particular turnout sections can be performed. In the following, the method for cleaning the ballast 8 in a switch section 24 with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3 described in more detail. Parallel to this, with respect to the working direction 2 behind it, a displacement of the ballast 6 located below the track 9 into the bedding section 7 occurs in a second method step. This is achieved by the use of the undercut 18 pivoted in under the track.
It is advantageous that the displacement of the existing below the track 9 ballast is facilitated in the adjoining the threshold ends 30 Bettungsabschnitt 7 by the previous gravel excavation.
During work in the switch section 24, both the rails of a main track 28 and a rail 25 of the branch track 26 are detected in order to achieve a sufficient fixation of the switch.
The ballast 6 accommodated by the flank receiving device 5 is temporarily stored in the storage 16 after cleaning to the extent required in each case and dropped onto the track 9 via the device 21 immediately after the use of the undercut 18. This results in a rapid restoration of the ballast bed located under the track 9.
After the end of the turnout section 24 (up to which the length of the undercutter 18 is still sufficient) has been reached, a transfer of the flank receiving device 5 and the undercutters 18 into an inoperative position takes place. Subsequently, the machine 1 is moved back to the beginning of the switch section 24.
[017] During the subsequent second machine advance, the undercutter 18 remains in the inoperative position. The previously moved in the second step by the undercutter 18 in the bedding section 7 gravel 6 is now received in a third process step using the flank receiving device 5, cleaned and dropped over a chute 29 turn into the bedding section 7.
The cleaning of a switch section 24 is very advantageous with this method, as in each case by a slight pivoting of the Undercutters 18 about a vertical pivot axis a quick and easy adaptation to the permanently changing width of the switch is possible.
